Calling Innovators for three chances to share your idea and compete for $350k in prizes and awards

Since 2015, the Yale Innovation Summit has been bringing together innovators, ideas, and investors, leading to the formation of dozens of startups and the investment of millions of dollars in venture capital. Is your idea next?  

We invite you to submit your innovation to be featured at the Yale Innovation Summit, with an anticipated audience of more than 2,000 founders, industry partners, and investors.   

APPLY ONCE FOR THREE OPPORTUNITIES  

  • Live Pitch Presentation: Pitch your innovation to a live audience on stage during the Innovation Summit.
  • ePoster Presentation: Present your innovation on an ePoster to hundreds of event attendees over two days.
  • Virtual Spotlight: All qualified applicants will be featured in a virtual Innovation Showcase that will be promoted to all Summit attendees.

  • Expert feedback will be provided for qualified submissions.

WHO SHOULD SUBMIT

Yale faculty, students, alumni, and Connecticut-based innovators that are at the idea stage or have pre-seed to Series A startups, are encouraged to submit ideas in the areas of biotech, climate, arts, health, and technology.

HOW TO APPLY

Set up your profile and submit your pitch slides via the Largely online platform by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 22. Please note you can make changes or updates to your submission at any time until mid-May.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR YALE FACULTY IN THE LIFE SCIENCES & HEALTH TECH

If you’re a Yale faculty member with an innovative idea in life sciences or health tech, we invite you to apply for the Blavatnik Accelerator Award. Thee prestigious $30,000 awards are intended to generate validating data for early-stage research which has the potential to change lives. The awards are open to faculty who have not previously received a Blavatnik award and can deliver a defined milestone in a 6-month timeframe to substantiate novel concepts. It is anticipated that all accelerator awardees will use this validating data to apply for a full Blavatnik award in the Fall 2024. Submit here
